The deadline for nominations for the Food Management Today Industry Awards 2021 has been pushed back until November 2nd, giving readers and members of the wider industry longer to nominate their products.

Organisers behind the initiative have also announced that judging for the initiative will now take place between 17th to 19th November, pushed back from September.

Product nominations are open for the following categories:

Most Innovative Packaging Development

Best Frozen Product

Best Bakery Product

Best Seafood Product

Best Red Meat Product

Best Poultry Product

Best Dairy Product

Best ‘Free From’ Product

Best New Product Development

The voting for the other categories is also extended to the 2nd November, and details can be found here.

Further important change

In order to reflect the growing prestige of the Awards, the ceremony in March will now be staged as a dinner rather than a lunch and is scheduled for the evening of the 18th March 2021 at the five-star Royal Garden Hotel, London.

Publisher of Food Management Today, Graham Yandell, said: “Despite all the efforts of Covid-19 we had a great ceremony back in March hosted by Michel Roux Jr and these quality Awards remain unique in rewarding excellence across 16 categories, going from strength to strength every year.

“We will, as always, keep monitoring the situation, but have every reason to believe that the physical ceremony will take place bringing the industry together to network. Naturally, all guidance will be observed to ensure we have a safe and enjoyable celebration. Should things need to change we will advise.”
