Just two weeks after 2018’s Food Management Today Industry Awards Ceremony took place, organisers have revealed a flurry of partners have already signed up to 2019’s campaign.

Marel, Harper Adams Univeristy, Protolan, Reiser UK, Dawsonrentals Temperature Control Solutions, Kerry – The Taste & Nutrition Company, and the Food & Drink Training & Education Council are all supporting the initiative.

The annual awards culminate in a five star lunch each year co-hosted by a celebrity guest. For the past two years chef John Torode has endorsed the campaign.

Products are entered by major manufacturers and retailers for judging across multiple categories ranging from dairy right through to meat and bakery. Voting categories also form part of the event, with categories including Supermarket of the Year and Manufacturer of the Year – not forgetting the coveted Food Industry Champion Award.

Here are just a few of the reasons why the Awards partners decided to support the event in 2019:

“The event brings together some of the best manufacturers, retailers and individuals in the industry and, as well as rewarding excellence, offers a great networking opportunity to meet like-minded people.”
Graeme Rolinson – regional general manager – UK & Ireland Operations, Marel

“Becoming a partner of these prestigious food awards and attending the Awards Presentation Luncheon offers Protolan a great networking opportunity to meet like-minded people, passionate about food manufacturing excellence.”
